Wondering what models of high-value, exotic cars will be appreciating the most in the next few years? There are plenty of exotic cars out there, but if you’re looking for fun and a return on investment, these may be the some of the best vehicles to purchase.
1. Mercedes-Benz SL65 Black Series AMG
One of the rarest Mercedes-Benz built in production, there were only 175 units ever built in the U.S. This car will very likely increase in value in the future. Today the 65 Black Series, as it is called, is a very rare car that is on the market for nearly $200K.
2. Ford GT
The Ford GT is a great car to own. The 2005 and 2006 models have increased in value by more than 100 percent in the last five years, and there are many of these cars that still have low mileage. The car originally depreciated down to the $100K range but has recently been selling in the $200K range.
3. Mercedes-Benz Gullwing SLS AMG
A modern car that can still be financed, the Mercedes-Benz Gullwing SLS coupe is a good daily driver in addition to being a great car. The SLS was a limited production run for Mercedes that included the gull wing on the coupe only from 2011 to 2013. Prices had dropped to as low as $88K for a used SLS but have now increased back up to $150K. The SLS is fun to drive and could be profitable to own.
4. Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
The Mercedes SLR McLaren is a unique car that has seen its lowest days and is now selling in the high $100K to $200K. This car has done tremendously well and seems to be gaining momentum.
5. Porsche 911 GT2 and GT3 RS
The GT2 is an increasingly rare find, and the GT3 RS is just coming out with a redesign. The older GT3 RS is rising from the $150K range, and a 4.2 super rare GT3 RS is now selling upwards of $300K.
