In 2012, Brower Insurance Agency joined forces with Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) as its Midwest hub. Joining MMA enabled Brower to provide optimal services to their clients, pursue new business opportunities, and foster a workplace where each individual may excel. Since then, we have continued to expand our presence in the Midwest region.

In 2014, we acquired Kinker-Eveleigh Insurance Agency located in Cincinnati, Ohio.
In 2016, we acquired Benefits Resource Group located in Cleveland, Ohio.
In 2020, we acquired Schaumburg, Illinois-based Assurance Holdings, Inc., one of the leading independent agencies in the U.S.

Assurance now operates as MMA’s Midwest regional headquarters under the leadership of Anthony (Tony) Chimino, CEO of Assurance. Founded in 1961, Assurance is a full-service brokerage providing business insurance, employee benefits, private client insurance, and retirement services to businesses and individuals across the country.

MMA Midwest has over 180 employees in our four Ohio offices in Dayton, Cincinnati, Columbus, and Cleveland. Our Illinois offices have over 525 employees working out of Schaumburg and Chicago.
