With nearly 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, Scott has earned his reputation as a trusted and committed business partner to his clients. His consultative manner, thoughtful evaluation and client-first attitude allow him to make honest, objective recommendations that help ensure the long-term health of his clients’ business and employees. His reputation within the industry has led numerous bike and ski events and organizations - including the American Birkebeiner, the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival, City of Lakes Nordic Ski Foundation - to seek him out for his advice and knowledge.
His “secret” is that he understands the bike and ski industry and the businesses involved. Furthermore, he’s dedicated to help those people and organizations involved. Scott first assesses a client’s operation, paying close attention to the industry-specific details that often go overlooked. He then designs and recommends a comprehensive insurance and risk management program that can include human resource consulting, loss control, and health management. His programs fill many of the voids commonly left open by other insurers not as familiar with the industry.
Scott is very involved in his community, Hayward, WI, home to the American Birkebeiner and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival. In addition to being a member of several local business and civic organizations and holding board positions on many of them, he’s also the director of skier development with the American Birkebeiner Foundation.
