Susanne Ebling is a Risk Consultant in the Business Insurance Division at Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA)’s Los Angeles office. With a background as a risk manager in the private industry, Susanne understands the difficulties of implementation and uses these experiences to help clients develop and enhance their risk management, accident prevention, and safety programs.
Prior to joining MMA, Susanne served as a risk manager and director of patrol for several Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, handling multiple jurisdictions. In these positions, Susanne developed and implemented tools to create and maintain a safe workplace for all resort departments, including Food & Beverages, Lodging, Lift Operations and Maintenance, Water Park Operations, Vehicle Maintenance, Transportation, Child Care, Snow Sports School, Retail and Rental, and others. She also oversaw and managed the Emergency Management Department, responsible for emergency medical response to injured guests and employees.
Susanne earned a Master of Arts in international affairs from The George Washington University with an emphasis in international economic development. She holds an OSHA 30 certificate for general industry and has completed numerous FEMA courses in emergency management, including the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) and Incident Command System (ICS) 100 through 900. She is an EMT, holds a CPR certificate, and volunteers her time as a National Ski Patroller and a member of Rotary International.
