Bill Brennan joined Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) in 1996 and became a principal in 2004. As a Principal in MMA’s Business Insurance Division in San Diego, he specializes in the placement of property, casualty, and workers’ compensation programs for large middle-market companies. Bill also specializes in the alternative risk and self-insurance market for selective clients.
As a seasoned and experienced property and casualty insurance broker, Bill provides a 360 degree perspective on insurance programs unique to businesses in the United States. Bill leads the real estate practice and is actively engaged in the construction, manufacturing, and retail industry sectors. He also oversees property and casualty teams and coordinates business development activities.
Bill is on the executive committee for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego and manages the Daisy Miracle Brennan Foundation at University of California, San Diego. He is active in the International Conference of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP), Association of General Contractors (AGC), and International Health,Racquet & Sports Club Association (IHRSA).
He received his Bachelor of Arts in business administration from the University of San Diego. He has also earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), and Property Risk Insurance Specialist (PRIS) designations. Bill is currently pursuing the Commercial and Institutional Construction (CISC) designation for construction and real estate.
