As the director of property & casualty claims for Marsh & McLennan Agency’s (MMA) West region, Yvette Beaubien is responsible for overseeing the region’s claims advocacy team. She has developed and implemented a highly effective claims management program. Serving as a liaison between clients and their insurance carriers, Yvette assists with complex insurance coverage disputes on behalf of clients.
Yvette’s education and professional experience make her an invaluable asset to our organization. For the 12 years prior to her tenure at MMA, Yvette practiced law, specializing in policy holder representation in insurance coverage analysis and litigation, with emphasis on coverage issues such as construction defect, healthcare, asbestos, products liability, first party property, business interruption, professional liability, errors and omission, directors and officers, mass tort and environmental liability. Yvette developed intricate insurance coverage presentations as well as provided sophisticated guidance for clients on how to tender claims and recite facts and law appropriately so as to maximize insurance coverage.
Yvette graduated magna cum laude, earning a Bachelor of Art’s degree from the University of California, Irvine. She received her law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law and has been a member of the California Bar since 1997.
