About This Seminar

This seminar will provide an in-depth look at the top five riskiest provisions in a construction contract. These provisions include indemnification, damages allocation, scope and others. Learn how to identify problems with the risky construction provisions, and steps that you can take to change the language to protect your business.

In addition, you’ll leave with a better understanding of the Minnesota's mechanic's lien process. Contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and design professionals will learn how to preserve their lien rights and efficiently collect payment for work performed or supplies provided when payment is not made. Specifics include: Pre-lien notices, filing requirements, action to foreclose mechanic's liens and deadlines.
