About This Webinar
Microaggressions are subtle verbal or nonverbal behaviors or slights, whether intentional or unintentional, that communicate hostile, derogatory, or negative attitudes toward stigmatized or culturally marginalized groups. Although they are more subtle than outright stereotypes and racist behavior, being exposed to microaggressions has been proven to be detrimental to the mental health of those exposed to them.
Our speakers will:
- Define microaggressions
- Identify how our biases materialize in microaggressions
- Share techniques regarding how to respond to microaggressions
