Join the MMA Cyber Center of Excellence, and cyber specialists from BakerHostetler and Beazley UK for a look back at the cyber landscape following the implementation of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
California has now enacted the first comprehensive consumer privacy law in the U.S., the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), which becomes effective January 1, 2020. Other states are already following suit such as the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) regulations.
Our speakers will share insights that have resulted from GDPR, with emphasis on best practices to help businesses prepare for eminent sweeping U.S. regulatory changes. The new laws have broad reach and can result in heavy penalties for any organization that doesn’t comply with comprehensive personal data privacy protection.
This event was developed specifically for MMA clients, in time for National Cybersecurity Awareness Month, and is intended for a broad audience of roles across your organization.
