About This Webinar

One of the biggest challenges facing senior living facilities is the prevention of elderly falls. While highly preventable, falls continue to be the leading cause of both fatal and nonfatal injuries in older adults, often leading to malpractice allegations. And as the population ages, the CDC expects the number of elderly falls to only increase.

This program will outline strategies that prepare care teams to identify and manage fall risk factors, as well as optimize workflow to reduce and mitigate fall-related injuries. Even with risk reduction and mitigation measures in place, harm events can occur. An overview of HEAL® will explain a better way forward to prepare, guide and enable health care teams to act promptly, confidently, and effectively when a harm situation does arise.
