DOL issues new FFCRA leave guidance

The Department of Labor (DOL) has issued new regulatory guidance on the application of its Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) regulations resulting in some substantive changes discussed below. The DOL has also recently issued new practical FAQ guidance addressing the application of employee FFCRA leave to a child’s education in remote and hybrid educational settings.These new FAQ’s are included here.
