Insurance Business interviews Krystie Dascoli

Long-term care insurance is a type of insurance policy that covers the costs associated with care services. These include assistance with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, and eating), as well as costs associated with assisted living facilities and home health care.

Krystie Dascoli, voluntary benefits practice leader at Marsh McLennan Agency, spoke with Insurance Business magazine about age’s role in purchasing long-term care insurance.

“By purchasing long-term care plans during their working years and through their employer, individuals can buy this insurance without answering medical questions with access to higher face amounts. This is especially important for anyone with pre-existing medical conditions,” said Krystie.
