Hurricane Preparation

Hurricanes are massive storm systems that form over warm ocean waters and move toward land. Potential threats from hurricanes include powerful winds, heavy rainfall, storm surges, coastal and inland flooding, rip currents, tornadoes, and landslides. The Atlantic hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30. The Pacific hurricane season runs May 15 to November 30.

While we certainly hope for an uneventful season, we will be closely monitoring any storm and will be available to assist you and provide support before, during and after a storm.

If a storm-related event occurs, your MMA team is ready to assist in the claims process. Claims can be reported by contacting your local MMA office. Our claims team will assist in notifying your insurer, as well as well as provide advice on documenting the extent of loss and ease the administrative burden of your claim wherever possible.
