Aliou Diouf appointed to the New African Immigrants Commission

Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) congratulates Aliou Diouf, Employee Health & Benefits Consultant, on his appointment by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine to the New African Immigrants Commission (NAIC) for a term beginning January 8, 2021, and ending October 7, 2023.

The mission of the New African Immigrants Commission is to advocate for the self-sufficiency of sub-Saharan African people in Ohio. The NAIC advises the governor, general assembly, and state departments and agencies of the nature, magnitude, and priorities of the problems of sub-Saharan African people.

“In Aliou, the NAIC gains a passionate and compassionate thought leader who’ll surely move the needle for the commission and the people it supports,” said Jeff Lightner, CEO, MMA Ohio. “At MMA, Aliou has lent his thoughtful, caring, and powerful voice to our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives, pouring his soul into amplifying our efforts, just as he does for his clients.”

Mr. Diouf provides strategic management of employee benefits programs for corporate clients by designing and implementing cost-effective human capital and health insurance risk management solutions. Born in Kaolack, Senegal, Diouf immigrated to Cincinnati at age seven. He became a naturalized U.S. citizen while attending Central State University, where he served as Mr. College of Business, nominated finalist for HBCU Male student of the Year, and led initiatives that propelled CSU to 2017 HBCU of The Year.
