DOL issues new guidance on FFCRA and required FFCRA posters

The Department of Labor has issued guidance in the form of information links, fact sheets and FAQ guides on a variety of topics. These topics include employee eligibility, employee counting and employer size under the Emergency Expansion of FMLA and the Federal Paid Sick Leave Act, both of which take effect on April 1, 2020.

The guidance also includes required posters for the emergency expansion of FMLA and Federal Emergency Paid Sick Leave.

We are still waiting for regulations to be issued from the DOL.

Please appreciate that you may need to consult with a Tax Advisor on issues regarding Employer Refundable Tax Credits and an Employment Lawyer regarding issues under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

We have copied the DOL links in the PDF attached.
