MMA Makes Charitable Contributions

White Plains, NY, December 16, 2021 – Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA), a subsidiary of Marsh, today announced grants to U.S. and Canadian nonprofit organizations whose missions support social justice and creating programs aimed at serving underrepresented communities.

The donations were awarded to:

  • INROADS, a non-profit organization that creates pathways to careers for ethnically diverse high school and college students across the U.S.
  • Cristo Rey Network, a network of high schools across the U.S. focused on equipping students from families of limited economic means with the knowledge, character, and skills to achieve their aspirations.
  • IndSpire, a Toronto-based, Indigenous national charity that invests in the education of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people for the long-term benefit of these individuals, their families and communities, and Canada.
  • ENSEMBLE pour le respect de la diversité, a Montreal nonprofit whose mission is to work and interact with young people to promote respect for differences and to engage in dialogue to build an environment free of discrimination and bullying.

The contributions are part of Marsh McLennan Agency’s broader commitment to social justice. In August 2021, the firm appointed Kira Kimball as MMA’s first Chief Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Officer. In her role, Kira provides strategic and tactical leadership to advance efforts to attract and celebrate diverse perspectives while promoting and protecting a level playing field for all colleagues. In 2020, Marsh McLennan Agency donated to six organizations focused on social justice.

Forest T. Harper, INROADS CEO and President, said: “INROADS is honored to have the support of Marsh McLennan Agency, an organization whose racial equity goals and commitments align so well with INROADS’ mission.”

Brenda Morris, Chief Advancement Officer of Cristo Rey Network, said: “We are invigorated by Marsh McLennan Agency’s dynamic partnership and selection of the Cristo Rey Network to receive this generous gift. Our mission is animated by Corporate Partnerships, and we are deeply grateful to MMA for its shared investment in advancing the college, career, and life outcomes for deserving young men and women at Cristo Rey schools."
