Chicago, IL (August 17, 2020): Assurance, a Marsh & McClennan Agency LLC company, has been named the Top Insurance Workplace for 2020 by Insurance Business America (IBA). Assurance dominated the large company category, scoring an average 93% satisfaction among employees, nearly 6 percentage points higher than the next company on the list. IBA surveys thousands of insurance professionals across the country to find out how their employers are performing regarding compensation and benefits, diversity, employee development, and culture.

In addition to rating basic workplace themes, employees were asked about particularly effective employers’ strategies and initiatives, including health and family leave benefits, diverse hiring practices, supportive cultures and how they have handled the COVID-19 pandemic. To be considered, each organization had to reach a minimum number of employee responses based on overall size. Organizations that achieved an 80% or greater average satisfaction rating from employees were named a Top Insurance Workplace.
