Marsh McLennan Agency Northeast hosts charity hockey game to support local non-profits

Marsh McLennan Agency’s Boston office recently hosted a charity hockey game to raise funds for three local charities; Operation Delta Dog, Team IMPACT, and Life is Good Playmaker Project. Members of the Marsh McLennan Agency community faced off against the Boston Bruins Alumni Association, and welcomed over 300 spectators. They enjoyed a spirited hockey game at Warriors Ice Arena, the Boston Bruins official practice facility.

This is the second year Marsh McLennan Agency colleagues have faced off against the Boston Bruins Alumni Association to support the local charities.

Between ticket sales, player donations, and direct donations to the charities, Marsh McLennan Agency raised over $51K total to be distributed between the three charities.

More about the charities

Operation Delta Dog rescues homeless dogs and trains them to be service dogs for veterans living with post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, and military sexual trauma.

Team IMPACT matches children facing serious illness and disability with college sports teams, creating a long-term, life-changing experience for everyone involved.

The Life is Good Playmaker Project puts optimism into practice. They provide training and support for a growing network of more than 16,000 professionals who create positive relationships and joy-filled environments for children who have suffered from homelessness, abuse, or community violence.
