As the situation in Ukraine evolves, businesses should be mindful of potential risks to their people, assets, operations, or supply chains in the region and globally. Marsh, as part of the Marsh McLennan family of companies, has created a page with information, tools, and resources related to the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Please visit the page for the latest information.

Note from our CEO

Our company’s purpose – building the confidence to thrive – resonates beyond our office walls. It's intertwined into the work we do outside of the office: in the hours and the dollars we give back to our communities, our donation drives for toys, coats, and food, our annual fundraisers, and in the paid time off our colleagues receive to serve the organizations that mean the most to them.

I'm proud of the strides we've made to foster a culture of giving around MMA. This report not only showcases some of the incredible work our colleagues have done in their communities, but it also serves as a reminder of the positive change we can create when we come together as a team.

Global Volunteer Month

Each May, colleagues across the global Marsh McLennan enterprise dedicate time to volunteering and fundraising. MMA colleagues leaned in and gave back, making a measurable impact in the communities where we work, live, and play.

Long-standing Partnerships

Barney & Barney Foundation

Since 2009, the Barney & Barney Foundation, named after MMA’s legacy agency Barney & Barney, has awarded more than $4.7 million to over 250 non-profit organizations in California. Annual golf tournaments invite colleagues, clients, prospects, and carrier sponsors to come together to celebrate the organizations selected.

In 2023, $412,000 was awarded to 10 incredibly special grant recipients. Five additional organizations were selected from colleague nominations to receive $5,000 grants.

Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation

Since 2005, MMA has hosted a two-part Charity Classic consisting of a virtual fundraiser and a Cocktails and Cornhole event, benefitting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. To date, we have raised over $4.3 million for their Butterfly Fund.

In 2023 alone, we raised over $500,000 between the two events.
