Although brain cancer in children is one of the most difficult cancers to treat, it has received little attention and funding on a national level. The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation does not receive any government funding to provide its services. It relies solely on the generosity of individual donors, grants from foundations, corporate giving programs, and proceeds raised through fundraisers.

For 2026, it is our goal to continue our same level of support for these families who need us more than ever. We are confident that, with your help, we can accomplish this goal. Emotional Support to Help a Family Thrive

With a gift of $10,000, the Butterfly Fund can provide two one-hour counseling sessions for 40 families, whether for the Star, siblings, or parents. These counseling services can also extend to Eternal Star familities for up to a year after a child passes. Families tell us that their greatest need outside of financial support is for emotional support. Your gift can help us meet this critical need by providing counseling for families following a brain tumor diagnosis.
