Cyber Resiliency Network

Your cybersecurity needs are always changing. Marsh McLennan Agency’s Cyber Resiliency Network connects you with trusted cyber vendor partners to help you stay prepared for cyber threats, manage risk, and make informed risk transfer decisions. The network is designed to help you identify issues, protect assets, respond effectively, and recover with greater confidence.

How it works

Use the network’s three-part framework to help identify exposures, strengthen safeguards, and respond to incidents more effectively. The network is designed to help you:

Identify

Understand where cyber risks could affect your systems, data, assets, and operations.

Protect

Develop and implement safeguards that help protect critical services and reduce disruption.

Respond and recover

Create plans and take action to respond to cyber incidents and restore affected services.

Cyber coverage

We help you explore insurance coverage options designed to address network security, privacy, and technology risks. Available coverage may include incident investigation and response costs, such as privacy law firms to help with legal requirements and forensic specialists to determine the cause and scope of a security incident.

We also help you evaluate coverage that may address network interruptions and extra expenses caused by partial or full system failures affecting your operations. Extortion and ransomware coverage may help with consultant fees and ransom payments, providing support during cyber extortion events.

Data restoration services may be available to recover deleted, corrupted, or altered data resulting from a security breach or system failure. Security and privacy liability coverage can help address security lapses or compromised sensitive information.

Additional cyber coverages may include media liability, privacy regulatory defense costs and fines, reputation-based income loss, and cybercrime protection.

Frequently asked questions

Learn how cyber resilience can help you prepare for threats, respond to incidents, and support recovery.

Cyber resilience is your organization’s ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from cyber threats while keeping essential business functions running. Building resilience can help reduce disruption, strengthen response plans, and support faster recovery when an incident occurs.

Building resilience can help you respond more quickly during a cyber incident, reduce downtime, and limit financial impact. It can also demonstrate stronger cyber risk management, which may support more favorable insurance terms.

Many organizations begin with a risk assessment or an incident response plan, often with support from a law firm. A risk assessment can help identify which controls to prioritize under "Protect," and a law firm can help assess legal and regulatory considerations and recommend initial next steps.
